The Celebration Week

Almost all of us too...

Almost all of us too…So much love ❤

Ahh happy Christmas Eve, everyone! Unfortunately for me, the world ended up not ending on Friday, so here we are. Actually, I’m still in a state of limbo, seeing as how I’ve virtually been nocturnal for the past week since my birthday. But after tomorrow, I’ll get back on track and hopefully be able to focus a little better. I don’t know, the week from my birthday to Christmas is always kind of like college finals week where I feel like it’s okay to just let myself go. Actually, I’ve been eating and drinking way too many sweets (and other junk), staying up late hours, and generally not doing anything. It’s kind of a gross feeling, but I’m still kind of sad the world didn’t fall into apocalyptic chaos.

Then again, Christmas celebrations were nice, so I’m glad I didn’t miss them.

I went to a dive bar for the first time! Kind of weird and scary and loud, which totally turns me into a wallflower, but it was nice to soberly observe the controlled hipster chaos surrounding me. I definitely want to frequent more bars, not to drink, but more to observe people. Creepy, but fun all the same. Holiday celebrations are always fun for me, and this year was extra special being my 21st and semi-celebrating the end of the world (or survival of it) with sake (another first!). I also went to Perry’s holiday party, where I got to see and hang out with old friends from middle school for the first time in a while and it was so fun and I felt really nostalgic and I finally got to eat apple pie (still planning on actually making one myself). And then there was Alex’s Christmas cookie decorating party, which is always fun and omg so much sugary stuff.

Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas and I got to see family for the first time in a long time (we were in Oregon for Thanksgiving, after all). And I got money and that 31-inch Costco Batman! Such an awesome surprise.

Sigh. I’m sad all the holiday festivities are over already. I’m just gonna try to hang out with people now before they leave.

In other news, can you guys believe it’s been over 3 years since I started my blogging journey? Still going strong and growing every day.
