The Break

The "Laziness Switch: On" face.

Oh, glorious day, you have finally come. A little slow on the uptake there. I almost didn’t wake up there because the bed was so comfortable. Next quarter, my last final will be on Friday at 1:30 p.m., so that’s going to be lame, I can already tell. Picture it. On the drive to school at 6:30 a.m., the fog is so dense in the streets that you can barely see the car in front of you. All around the city before the freeway and all around UCI. Raindrops started falling from the actual condensation. I thought it was actually going to rain, but it was just the fog.

It feels good to do nothing! Went out to Corky’s with friends when I got back home, and then went to visit Randy for a little before going back home and catching up on television. And then I totally knocked out because my sister and dad left and the house was all dark and I was already laying down. Sleep just felt so right. So I just woke up now…I haven’t felt like I’m in no rush in a long time.

I just noticed that the trees around the city are turning all red and orange like it’s fall. It looks very nice around here and makes me in the mood to get all Christmassy in this joint. Plans for break begin…now!
