The Quake

The "Waking up to rain is not fun" face.

Oh, I forgot about April showers. Just kidding, I just didn’t expect it to rain. Gloomy days, I guess I can handle. But when there are wet days, it just throws everything apart and I feel like sitting inside all day, not going to class.

I hate that feeling on Sundays where I know I’ll have to wake up early just to go to school. I don’t know if I’ll be back home for awhile with some fieldtrips for the next 2 Saturdays and then studying for midterms after that. I hope there is some downtime later today so I can organize my thoughts. And get that thing on my mind out of my mind because I still don’t really know what it is but it’s bothering me.

So, earthquake yesterday! I was battling some boss in Final Fantasy XIII and the earthquake hits and it took awhile for me to realize, but it lasted so long, I was just sitting there seeing everything shake. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced an earthquake like that. Also, when I was sleeping, I woke up randomly at 4:15 a.m. and one of the aftershocks hit with three quakes and I heard some crumbling of the ceiling. This could have been a dream, but it feels vivid- just unlikely that our house is falling apart.

Wouldn’t that be cool if earthquakes caused such trauma in the ground that the sky started feeling it too, so the clouds started to shake until they shattered and let all the water out of them, causing rain? Just think about it.
