The Winter Quarter

The "I don't want to go to school, I just don't wanna" face.

Alas, the day has actually come where I leave my queen-sized cloud of a bed, privacy and intimacy of my home, home-cooked meals, and all that nice relaxation that is Winter break- all to go back to dorm life and worrying about school. I knew it couldn’t last forever, but of course, now, it feels like it went by so fast. There are things I look forward to, but so much that I will miss. Well, I do only live 20 minutes away, so I should stop sounding so ominously dramatic, but still, it’s just not the same without a nice 3-week break.

Break was eventful and very fun. It was the first break where I didn’t have tons of homework to do and I didn’t sit at home all day, mostly every day. I went out a lot, thus, spent a lot of money…sadly. But it was all worth it to see all my friends again and catch up. It felt great just to sit around and relax, without any significant worry.

I wonder what the new quarter will bring me. I’m not going to sit here and ponder the endless possibilities, but let’s hope something wonderful and amazing happens that changes my life forever. Like adopting a baby, only better!
